İzmir is Türkiye’s third largest city and its main Aegean gateway, with the country’s busiest regional airport. For international patients that usually means the simplest flights and the widest choice of times.
Karşıyaka sits on the northern side of the bay, away from the tourist centre. If your plan is treatment plus coast rather than treatment plus Pamukkale, this is the more practical base — and Denizli is about three hours away by road if you want both.

Which location should I choose, İzmir or Denizli?
İzmir if you are flying into Adnan Menderes and combining treatment with the Aegean coast. Denizli if Pamukkale is part of the trip, or if you want the shortest possible transfer from Çardak airport.
